I’m Georgie, the face behind the camera at Content by Georgie Lu.

For over 10 years, I've worked across weddings, bridal fashion, photography and social media - capturing stories for couples, luxury brands and creative businesses across the UK, Europe and Western Australia.

Today, I bring all of those experiences together to create modern time capsules that preserve life's biggest moments with an editorial eye, a calm presence and a documentary heart.

Work With Me

It all started with a little pink camera...

When I was 11 years old I got my first little pink point-and-shoot camera and instantly fell in love with photography. I captured everything big or small, family holidays, birthdays, days out with friends and endless photos of my pets…

Then everything changed…

That love took on a much deeper meaning when I suddenly lost both my Auntie and my Nan at 13, and realised we didn't have a single photo together.

It completely changed the way I see photography and videography.

They're so much more than something you post online. They're a legacy. A time capsule of the people, moments and emotions that matter most.

That's what drives everything I do today.

Every role taught me something different. From photographing weddings and styling brides, photographing products in studios, to working with luxury bridal designers, managing social media and creating editorial campaigns, every chapter has shaped the way I tell stories today.

Beyond the Camera...

💍 I'm planning my own wedding!

Having recently got engaged myself, I'm experiencing all the excitement (and decision-making!) from the other side. It's given me an even deeper appreciation for every little moment.

Nature is my reset-

I've always been an outdoors girl at heart. I love animals and nature so much. Whether it's a countryside walk, snorkelling in the sea or hiking with a mountain view, it's where I feel most inspired and grounded.

Travel has shaped so much of who I am -

I'm incredibly grateful to have backpacked around South East Asia, taught English in Cambodia, volunteered at a turtle sanctuary in Sri Lanka or flown solo to Western Australia to capture a wedding.

People are my favourite part of this job -

I can genuinely chat to anyone! From grandparents to CEOs, building real connections is one of the things I love most about this.
